Julie Muccillo has been a technology consultant for 27 years, over half of that working with law firms. Julie has worked with SharePoint and related third-party tools since 2002. She has been designing intranets, extranets, public facing websites and business applications utilizing SharePoint as well as various other technology platforms.
Due to her extensive experience, Julie is both SharePoint’s biggest fan and toughest critic. Julie currently owns her own consultancy, Muccillo Tech. In this role, she is responsible for understanding client needs and providing them with a vision of the ways technology can support their organization.
She has deep experience in design and user experience leveraging Microsoft technologies. Julie brings more than 25 years of web technology experience to the table, having worked previously as a Solution Architect at Protiviti/SusQtech, as Director of SharePoint Solutions in the legal industry at Thomson Reuters/Hubbard One and Risetime, and prior to that as Director of Product Management for client extranet solutions at Information Resources.
She also served as senior project manager at the design firm of VSA Partners and as a senior consultant at Ernst and Young, specializing in emerging web technologies and e-commerce solutions. Past clients include Kelley Drye, Sidley Austin, Harvard Law Review, Wachtell, Masuda Funai, Loeb and Loeb, Peapod/Ahold, Quaker Foods, IBM and Lands’ End.
