The Challenge

Federman Steifman engaged Knox Design Strategy to develop a new brand identity and custom website. The firm has a rich history working with C-suite executives at investment and commercial banks, credit unions, insurance companies, opportunity funds, mortgage REITs and other financial institutions, as well as real estate and institutional organizations.

Solution

The new brand identity and website not only leverages the firm’s depth of experience and confidence but also appeals to new recruits, which was an important goal of the project. The website accurately positions the firm as a legal force in the real estate and financial industries, alongside large firm and small boutique competitors.

While the old website was text heavy, the new website features engaging industry- and practice-specific imagery throughout, layering and color blocks, as well as a heavily-gridded layout and bold typography. The easy-to-use CMS allows admins to keep content up-to-date as well as leverage the website’s content (e.g., practice pages and attorney bios) for business development activities with dynamically generated PDFs.
