SBA Daily May 8th – NEW YORK

This week, the New York District Office (NYDO) kicked off its 2019 Emerging Leaders program. Two groups gathered for the first session at the Microsoft Center in Manhattan. Over the course of the next six months, these 40 small businesses will convene in Yonkers and New York City to develop their three-year growth plans. Prior to this week’s session, Emerging Leaders Project Manager Man-Li Lin, Instructor Vanessa Best and NYDO DD, Beth Goldberg, met with some previous graduates to discuss their progress. The Emerging Leaders Initiative continues to be a popular program in the NYDO. More than 200 business applied to the program this year.
