Leading global law firm Reed Smith asked us to help redesign the firm’s intranet. The previous intranet was rich with data and analytical dashboards, but users couldn’t easily locate information, it was out of date with the firm’s current brand, and it was cumbersome to use on mobile devices. Our challenge? To provide a modern and intuitive user interface with improved navigation that would best display the firm’s vast amount of content within a SharePoint environment on both desktop and mobile devices.

We collaborated closely with the firm’s practice innovation and development teams to design a fully responsive interface that provides for ample flexibility across individual practices and departments while retaining a cohesive look and feel across the firm. Since the new intranet launched, user statistics show an increase of over 70% click-through rate indicating that information is much easier to find. A firmwide survey showed that a vast majority of users were very impressed by the overall design, personalization, navigation, and ease of use.
